Hassan Alwashali has led the company since January 2018, overseeing the development of its educational and operational business model and strengthening its position within the Kingdom’s education sector.

He is also the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of OSJ Information Technology Company, a firm specializing in the development of integrated smart technology solutions for the education sector. In addition, he serves as Chief Executive Officer of Sadmah Investment Company, where he manages a diversified investment portfolio across the education, real estate, and venture capital sectors.

He is a Co-Founder and Board Member of several investment and educational entities, including Raseen Investment Company, Al-Motaqadimah Schools Company, Al-Wasat Schools Company, and Al-Thaka’ Al-Barmaji Company.

Alwashali is actively involved in initiatives and committees focused on advancing the private education sector. He serves as a Member of the Education Committee at the Riyadh Chamber, contributes to strategic studies related to the development of the private education sector, and supports the design of professional development programs for industry stakeholders. He has also participated in the Chamber’s education investor committees since 2014 and is a Founding Member and Executive Committee Member of the Ta‘leem Cooperative Association.

Alongside his professional activities, he contributes to social and charitable initiatives through his role as Executive Director and Member of the Board of Trustees of the Mohammed bin Ali Alwashali Endowment Foundation. He also serves on the boards of directors and boards of trustees of several development-focused organizations, including Dirayah Educational Association, Ta‘allam Al-Khair Association, and Ishraqa Association.

Alwashali specializes in school restructuring, the development of outcome-based education systems, project-based learning, and design thinking. With more than 15 years of experience in operations and investment, he has contributed to redesigning operating models for educational institutions to improve operational efficiency and financial performance. He has also participated in the execution of several education-sector acquisitions in collaboration with international investment funds.

Before assuming his current position, he served as Assistant General Manager of Alnobalaa Private Schools Company.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sharia from Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University. He is also a Certified Institutional Excellence Professional and a Certified Business Professional in Leadership (CBP), and has completed several training programs in educational project management, lean management, financial analysis for executives, and finance for non-financial managers.
