He joined Oman Telecommunications Company (Omantel) in 2005, where he held several positions, including: Acting Chief Commercial Officer, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Retail Subscribers Unit, General Manager of Sales in the same unit during 2020, General Manager of Solutions Management in the Network Operations Sector between 2014 and 2020, Acting Sales Manager of the Retail Subscribers Unit between 2012 and 2014, Senior Manager in the Contact Center between 2011 and 2012, Retail Support Manager between 2009 and 2011, Quality and Performance Manager between 2008 and 2009, and Executive in Quality and Performance between 2005 and 2008.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering in 2004 from Sultan Qaboos University , a Certificate in Change Strategy in 2020 from Harvard Business School, and a Certificate in Finance in 2020 from the same college.
