CEO of OQ since June 23, 2024, Sultanate of Oman.

He is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of OQ Exploration and Production Company and OQ Refineries and Petroleum Industries Company, and a member of the Board of Directors of OQ Trading Company and the Oman Telecommunications Company Omantel.

He joined OQ in 2013, where he held several positions, including: Acting CEO, Head of Human Resources, Technology and Work Culture, Head of Human Resources, and Director of Training and Development at Takatuf, one of the group’s subsidiaries. He also served as Director of Human Capital at OQ Exploration and Production, and Vice President of Corporate Affairs at the same company.

He served as Executive Vice President of Human Resources and Communications at OQ Chemicals (formerly OXEA) in Germany, and Senior Director of Human Resources and Business Development at Rukun Al Yaqeen Company.

He led the training and localization team at Occidental Oman (Oxy Oman). He also held the position of Community Relations Officer at Petroleum Development Oman, and served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Oman Oil and Gas Institute.

He has over 17 years of experience in organizational leadership.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from Sultan Qaboos University  in 2005.
