CEO Commercial and Downtream  at “ OQ Company ” since March 2022, Sultanate of Oman.

He is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of: “Majis Industrial Services Company” since June 2021, “Central Utilities Company” since June 2021, and a member of the Board of Directors of “OQ Trading” since July 2021, “Duqm Refinery Company”, and the Gulf Petrochemicals and Chemicals Association “GPCA ”.

He chaired the Board of Directors of Oman Oil Marketing Company between June 1, 2020 and 2024, Oman Sustainable Water Services Company between 2018 and 2021, and Oman India Fertilizer Company (OMIFCO) between 2019 and 2020. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Special Economic Zone Authority at Duqm between 2016 and 2020.

He held several positions at Oman Oil Company, currently known as OQ , including: Vice President of Retail Sector at OQ, Acting Chief Commercial Officer between 2019 and 2022, Acting Executive General Manager at Oman Oil Company for Duqm Development between 2016 and 2019, Vice President of Emerging Business Sector between 2012 and 2016, Head of Business Development Group between 2011 and 2012, and Business Development Manager between 2008 and 2011.

He held the position of Senior Oil and Gas Management Expert at Shell Exploration and Production in the Netherlands between 2001 and 2005, and was an Oil and Gas Management Expert at Petroleum Development Oman between 1990 and 2000.

He holds an MBA in 2007 from Henley Business School in the United Kingdom, and a BA in Geology and Economic Geography in 1990 from the University of Bedfordshire in the same country.
