Deputy Chairman of the Oman Investment Authority for Investment since January 2023, Sultanate of Oman.

He has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of Oman Telecommunications Company (Omantel) since July 27, 2020, and OQ Company since August 18, 2020.

He chaired the Board of Directors of Sohar Aluminium Company and Oman Oil Marketing Company , and was a member of the Board of Directors of Oman Arab Bank and Oman Oil Refineries and Petroleum Industries Company (Orpic) .

He held the position of Acting Deputy Head of Investment at the Oman Investment Authority , Head of the Investment Unit at the State General Reserve Fund , Deputy CEO at Oman Oil Marketing Company , Legal Officer at Oman Gas Company , and Legal Researcher at the Ministry of Oil and Gas .

He has 25 years of experience in international business and finance.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business Administration from Marymount University in the United States of America, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the United Kingdom.
