Consultant physician specializing in neurology and epilepsy at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.

He served as Director of the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit at William Beaumont University Hospital, Corwell Health System, and Assistant Professor at William Beaumont School of Medicine at Oakland University in Michigan, USA (2021-2023). Previously, he worked as Director of the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit at Spectrum Health and an Assistant Clinical Professor at the College of Human Medicine at Michigan State University in the United States (2012-2021).

He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Damascus University (2005) and completed his training as a resident in neurology at the University of Tennessee, USA (2010) and a fellow in clinical neurophysiology and epilepsy at Vanderbilt University, USA (2012).

He is certified by the American Board of Neurology and Epilepsy and is a Fellow of the American Epilepsy Society and a Fellow of the American Society of Clinical Neurophysiology.
