He held several positions and duties in the Damascus Chamber of Commerce , including Honorary President, Treasurer of the Chamber, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Board Member.

He served as a member of the Syrian People’s Assembly for five consecutive legislative terms between 1990 and 2011, and held the position of Chairman of the Syrian-Turkish Business Council during 2012 in Syria.

He began his career by establishing a store to sell building materials such as iron, wood, ceramics, and various sanitary ware.

According to the records of the Syrian Ministry of Economy, Hassan is a founding partner in Al-Nour Medical Company in the Syrian Arab Republic, and owns 350 shares in the company, representing 35%, with a value of 1,750,000 Syrian pounds.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Washington in the United States of America.

He died on Monday, April 19, 2021.
