He was appointed a member of the Board of Directors of Damac Properties in 2015, then Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company before assuming the Chairmanship of the Board. He was a founding member and a member of the Board of Directors of Amlak Finance Company , and a member of the Board of Directors of Al Ahlia Insurance Company in Bahrain. He joined HSBC Bank in 1984 and held several positions in various fields including customer service, private banking, corporate finance, commercial services, and investment banking. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 1984 from Seattle Pacific University in the United States of America.
