Previously held several positions, including: Senior Legal Counsel and Head of Trade and Disputes at Dubai International Financial Centre, Member of the National Committee for Anti-Money Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorism, Head of Legal Affairs at Dubai Media Incorporated, and Legal Counsel at Dubai Culture and Arts Authority. He holds a Master’s degree in Commercial Law from the University of Melbourne in Australia, and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Dubai Police Academy in the UAE in 1998.
