Head of the Custody and Securities Services Department at the National Bank of Egypt since July 2018, Arab Republic of Egypt. He served as General Manager of Custody at the National Bank of Abu Dhabi between 2014 and 2017, Head of the Custody and Securities Services Department at the same bank between 2009 and 2014, Head of the Securities and Funds Services Group at Citibank in Pakistan between 2007 and 2009, and Custodial Operations Officer at The same bank between 1997 and 1999. He held a number of positions at Citibank Egypt, including: Country Manager for Securities and Funds Services between 2002 and 2007, Director of Custody Operations and Business Unit Compliance Officer between 2001 and 2002, and Head of the Client Services Department between 1999 and 2001. He holds a BA in Economics in 1996 from the American University in Cairo.
