She has been the Founder, Medical Director and Consultant Breast Surgeon at Well Woman Clinic since 2006, and the Founder and President of Brest Friends, a breast cancer support organization in Dubai, since 2005.

I worked as a trainee surgeon within the surgical medical team at Rashid Hospital in Dubai.

She holds a Master's degree in Public Health, specializing in Epidemiology, from the University of Texas in the United States of America in 1982, a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology from the University of Victoria in the United Kingdom in 1980, a Fellowship in General Surgery, a Specialty Certificate in Surgical Oncology from the Royal College of Surgeons in the same country, and a Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
