He is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of AMEA Power and the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank.

He is a board member of Rotana Hotel Management Corporation, Sandooq Al Watan, and the Family Business Council Gulf NPIO.

He assumed the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development, the National Petroleum Services Company NPS, and the National Petroleum Construction Company NPCC.

He chaired the boards of several companies, including: General Holding Company Senaat, Waha Capital, Emirates Steel, and Middle East Infrastructure Fund, and also served as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of The Abraaj Group.

He was a member of the board of directors of Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, AD Ports Group , Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, Al Dhafra Insurance, and a member of the advisory board of Khalifa University.

He has over 30 years of experience in the banking and financial services, investment, heavy industry, petrochemicals, energy, hospitality, and real estate sectors.

He obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a specialization in Financial Management from Lewis & Clark College in the United States of America in 1979.
