He served as Ambassador of the Syrian Arab Republic to the United States of America between 2004 and 2011, Ambassador of the Syrian Arab Republic to the People's Republic of China, and Non-Resident Ambassador of Syria to the People's Democratic Republic of Laos, the People's Republic of Mongolia, and the Kingdom of Cambodia.

He served as Dean of the Faculty of Informatics Engineering at the University of Damascus , Secretary-General of the Arab School of Science and Technology, and one of the founders of the Network of Scientists, Technologists, and Innovators in the Diaspora “Nostia.”

He was a consultant to many international and regional organizations in the field of technology.
