He served as Minister Plenipotentiary at the Egyptian Embassy in the Emirates between 2012 and 2015, and Commercial Advisor at the same embassy between 2011 and 2012, and Commercial Advisor at Embassy of Egypt in the United States between 2005 and 2009, First Commercial Secretary at the Egyptian Embassy in Japan between 1990 and 2003, and Deputy Commercial Counselor at the Egyptian Embassy in Saudi Arabia between 1993 and 1997.
