He held several positions at the Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council , including: Director of the Life Sciences Department between 2015 and 2016, Director of the Individual and Systems Conformity Department 2012 and 2015, and Director of Standards between 2011 and 2012. He worked as General Manager of the Zayed Complex for Herbal and Traditional Medicine Research between 2001 and 2011, and as an internal medicine specialist at Al Jazeera Hospital between 1999 and 2001. In addition, he worked as a supervisor of resident students and a member of the advisory committee at the same hospital, and as a trainee physician in internal medicine at Tawam Hospital between 1995 and 1999. He holds an Executive Master's in Healthcare Management in 2007 from Zayed University , and a Bachelor's in Medicine and Surgery in 1995 from the United Arab Emirates University .
