He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Emirates Maritime Arbitration Centre , and a member of the Board of Directors of Emaar Development Company since April 19, 2023.

He has more than 30 years of experience in the field of operations and management, where he held the position of CEO and General Manager of DP World , UAE Region, and Executive Director of Jebel Ali Free Zone “Jafza” .

He began his work at Port Rashid in 1983 as a trainee, and was promoted to planning engineer in 1985, then assistant director of port engineer in 1987, and in 1991 he was appointed to the position of first technical director when the Dubai Ports Authority was established, then he served as deputy director. Technician in 1992, Technical Director in 2000, Executive Technical Director in July 2002, and Head of the Executive Team in 2003.

In 2004, he was appointed as the executive coordinator of the new Terminal 2 project at Jebel Ali Port, before assuming the duties of supervising DP World in the UAE in 2005.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Portland in the United States, and holds certificates in cost control, budgeting, planning, maintenance and computer systems.
