He has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of 1957 Ventures since August 20, 2024.

He has more than 30 years of banking experience, having held several positions at Riyad Bank, including: Senior Vice President of Treasury and Investment between 2020 and 2024, Executive Vice President of Treasury and Investment between 2019 and 2020, Head of Treasury Department between 2014 and 2018, and Treasurer between 2013 and 2014.

Prior to that, Al-Koraya worked at Samba Financial Group for 20 years, during which he held several positions, including: Assistant General Manager of the Treasury Group, Head of Capital Market and Fixed Income, and Head of Foreign Investment.

He holds an MBA in 1989 from California State University in the United States of America, and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering in 1987 from the same university. He has completed several different executive and leadership programs, including the Leadership Program from Harvard Business School.
