He served as Assistant CEO for Treasury and Investment Affairs at the same bank between 2011 and 2019, Director of the Treasury and Investment Department at the Arab Bank of Syria between 2006 and 2011, and Director of the Regional Markets Department at the Financial Bank of Jordan during the year 2006. He held several positions at the Bank of Jordan Among them: Chief Trader of the Treasury Department between 2002 and 2006, Assistant Chief Trader of the Treasury Department between 2001 and 2002, Portfolio Manager between 2000 and 2001, Lead Trader in the Financial Markets between 1999 and 2000, and Trader in the Financial Markets between 1998 and 1999. He was a specialized lecturer in treasury and investment management at the Institute of Banking Studies. He holds a Master’s degree in International Banking and Finance in 2004 from the University of Liverpool in the United Kingdom, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics in 1992 from Mu’tah University in Jordan.
