Chairman of the Board of Directors of the “Abu Dhabi Retirement Pensions and Benefits Fund” since 2018, United Arab Emirates. He is a member of the Supreme Petroleum Council . He assumed the position of Chairman of the Department of Finance in Abu Dhabi , a member of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi between 2016 and 2019, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Accounting Authority , and a member of the Corporate Governance Systems Board. He began his career by working in the four largest auditing companies in the world, where he gained extensive experience by providing consulting, financial auditing and risk management services to a number of clients in different sectors. In 2004, he joined Dolphin Energy to hold the position of Chief Auditing Executive. He assumed the position of Executive Director of the Investment Management Group at Mubadala Development Company in 2006, to be responsible for managing its investment portfolios. He was entrusted with the task of restructuring the media assets of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi in 2007, where he worked to establish the “Abu Dhabi Media Company” as part of the “ Abu Dhabi Government ” restructuring policy that was launched in 2005, and he was appointed acting head of the “Financial Supervision Authority” in December ( December 2007, to restructure it, which resulted in the issuance of Law No. 14 of 2008, according to which the “Abu Dhabi Accountability Authority” was established to replace the “Financial Audit Authority.” He served as a member of the Anti-Corruption Council of the World Economic Forum. He was selected as one of the Young Global Leaders for the Year 2010 by the World Economic Forum, and obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certificate from the United States of America. He holds a master’s degree in financial economics from Boston University in the United States of America, and a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
