CEO of Expo Center Sharjah since 2004, United Arab Emirates. He is the President of the International Association for Exhibitions and Events (IAEF), the Arabian Gulf Region branch, since 2015. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center since 2018, and a member of the Board of Directors of the International Federation of the Exhibition Industry. In 2014, he was elected as first vice president of the Middle East and Africa region at the Universal Association of Exhibitions (UFI), based in Paris. Before joining Expo Center Sharjah, he also held the position of Regional Business Manager at Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) between 2001 and 2004. He holds a doctorate in international management in 2015 from SMC University in Switzerland, a master’s degree in international management in 2008 from the United States of America, and a bachelor’s degree in international business administration in 2000 from Bournemouth University in the United Kingdom.
