Deputy Amir of the State of Qatar since November 11, 2014.
He is the General Supervisor of the " Qatari Amiri Diwan ", Chairman of the Board of Trustees of "Qatar University" , Vice Chairman of the "Supreme Council for Economic Affairs and Investment", Chairman of the Board of Directors of " Qatar Energy Company ", and "Sheikh Jassim Bin Mohammed Bin Thani Foundation for Social Care". He also is Supervisor of the Social and Sports Activities Support Fund "Daam".
He served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Qatar Investment Authority between December 3, 2014 and November 3, 2018, and as Head of the Amiri Diwan between December 20, 2011 and November 10, 2014.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University in Qatar in 2010.
