He has been Deputy Ruler of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi since March 29, 2023, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Remuneration and Nominations Committee at First Abu Dhabi Bank since 2017, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of both the G42 Group and the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) since March 9 2023, “ Reem Investment Company ”, the “Royal Group” , and “ International Holding Company ” since April 20, 2020.

He is also a member of the “ Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi,” and Chairman of the “Abu Dhabi Committee for Strategic Affairs” in the same council since January 21, 2019.

He is the founder of Jiu-Jitsu in the Emirates, and the founder of the “Abu Dhabi Fight Club.”

He served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of First Gulf Bank, Chairman of the Private Department of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan between 1996 and 2004, and Chairman of the Presidential Aviation Authority between 2009 and 2013. He was also Deputy National Security Advisor with the rank of Minister between 2013 and 2016.
