He is a candidate for the 2023 Federal National Council elections for the Emirate of Dubai.

He held the position of Assistant Secretary General of the Rental Disputes Resolution Committee at the Municipal Council of Dubai Municipality , Director of Business Promotion at the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry between 2004 and 2007, and Director of the Trade Office for the UAE and the Gulf Cooperation Council Countries at the Scottish Foundation for Global Development, affiliated with the British Embassy in Dubai between 1998 and 2004.

He joined Dubai Islamic Bank in 1984, then was promoted to the position of Head of Real Estate Department at the same bank in 1990.
