Chairman of the Middle East Public Relations Association (MEPRA) since December 2020, United Arab Emirates. He has been the Head of Corporate Communications at Emirates Water and Electricity Company (EWEC) since 2019. He has been a member of the Strategic Council of the Middle East Public Relations Association (MEPRA) , and held the position of Corporate Communications Advisor at Abu Dhabi Energy Corporation (ADEC) in 2019. Prior to that, he worked at Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA) between 2012 and 2017, where he held the position of Global Head of External Communications, and Corporate Communications Manager at Iraq Energy Company. He held the position of Head of External Communications at Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar) between 2011 and 2012, Senior Director of Corporate Communications at Etihad Airways between 2009 and 2011, and Corporate Communications Manager at Majid Al Futtaim Group between 2006 and 2008. He started his career as a journalist, editor and columnist for several Arabic and English newspapers in the UAE, including The National, Gulf News and Emirates Today. He holds a Master’s degree in Strategic Communication from Zayed University in 2016, a Bachelor’s degree in Media and Communication from the American University of Sharjah in 2004 and completed the Leadership Program at Northwestern University in the United States in 2015.
