Chairman of the Board of Directors of “ Syrian International Islamic Bank ” since June 8, 2020, Syrian Arab Republic. He held many positions, most notably Secretary-General of the “ Presidency of the Council of Ministers ,” Director of the Prime Minister’s Office between 2007 and 2011, Assistant Secretary-General of the “ Presidency of the Council of Ministers ” between 2004 and 2007, Director of the Economic Office in the same region between 2003 and 2004, and Director of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister. The Council of Ministers for Economic Affairs between 2001 and 2003, Secretary of the Economic Office between 1992 and 1995, Head of the Financial and Monetary Department in the same office between 1987 and 1991, and Head of the Foreign Trade Department in the Qatari Economic Office between 1983 and 1985. He was also a lecturer at the University of Damascus and the Intermediate Commercial Institute. He obtained a degree in political science in 1983.
