Director General of Government Capabilities and Competencies Development at the “ Government Support Department ” since July 27, 2022, United Arab Emirates.

He has been a member of the Supreme Committee of the 7th session of the “Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Program for Excellence and Community Intelligence” since March 2023.

He held the position of Assistant Director General for Government Leadership and Capabilities at the Prime Minister’s Office , and held several positions at the General Secretariat of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, including: Director of the Abu Dhabi Excellence Program between 2011 and 2017, Acting Director of the Center of Excellence between 2012 and 2013, Director of the Abu Dhabi Award for Excellence in Government Performance between 2008 and 2011, and Project Manager between 2007 and 2008.

He also served as Project Manager at Abu Dhabi Retirement Pensions and Benefits Fund between 2005 and 2007, and as Supervisor Mechanical Engineer at National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC) between 2002 and 2005.

He has more than 16 years of experience in the fields of excellence, institutional development, government services, project management, strategic planning, leadership and capacity development, total quality management, strategic management, and performance management.

He holds a PhD in Project Management and Organizational Development from the University of Salford in the United Kingdom in 2013, a Master’s in Project Management from the University of Washington in 2006, a Master’s in Engineering Management from Brunel University in Britain in 2003, and a Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from South Tyneside College in Britain in 2001.
