Parkin was established in accordance with Dubai Law No. 30 of 2023 and listed on the Dubai Financial Market on March 21, 2024. The company is the largest provider of paid parking facilities and services in Dubai, operating approximately 197,000 paid parking spaces, which represents 91% of the total paid on-street parking market in Dubai.
As a legally independent entity, Parkin is authorized to:
- Plan, design, develop, manage, and supervise public parking facilities.
- Manage, establish, develop, design, and invest in private parking facilities, as well as related commercial activities.
- Conduct studies and research related to public and private parking, and provide consulting services.
- Issue permits to individuals to operate and manage public parking facilities.
- Enter into contracts with third parties, establish fully or partially owned companies, and participate in companies related to its objectives, both within and outside Dubai.
- Own, possess, use, lease, and rent land, real estate, vehicles, equipment, and machinery.
