He has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of Nama Power and Water Procurement Company since September 2023, and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Oman Environmental Services Holding Company (Be’ah) since July 2020.

He held the position of Director General of Renewable Energy and Hydrogen at the Ministry of Energy and Minerals between 2022 and 2023, Chief Operating Officer of the Water Sector at the Oman Water and Wastewater Services Company between 2021 and 2022, and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Nama Power and Water Procurement Company between 2017 and 2020.

He held the position of Director General of Planning and Asset Management at the Public Authority for Electricity and Water between 2016 and 2021, Senior Director of Privatization and Restructuring at the same authority between 2012 and 2016, Director of Regulatory Affairs and Planning at Mazoon Electricity Company between 2011 and 2013, and Head of Studies and Planning between 2009 and 2010.

He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration in 2011 from Sultan Qaboos University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in 2003, specializing in Energy and Electricity, from the same university.
