He has been the CEO of the same bank’s branch in Saudi Arabia since 2019, a non-executive member of the Board of Directors of “GIB Capital ” in Saudi Arabia, and a member of the Board of Directors of “ King Fahd Causeway Authority ” since April 2021, and “Gulf International Bank”.

Prior to joining GIB, he served as an advisor to the Governor of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA) during 2015, and held the position of Deputy Governor of the same agency for supervision between 2013 and 2015.

His experience includes serving as Senior Area Officer, Managing Director and Head of Global Corporate Banking for the Middle East and North Africa at JPMorgan Chase in Riyadh between 2010 and 2013, and he also held a number of senior positions at the Saudi British Bank ( SABB ), Arab National Bank and Saudi Hollandi Bank between 1990 and 2010.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Texas in the United States of America in 1989.
