President of Tabuk University since July 2024, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

He is a professor of materials science and engineering, a member of the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), the Saudi Council of Engineers , and a founding member of the Saudi Society for Quality in Hail.

He held several positions at Hail University , including: Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dean of the College of Engineering from 2016 to 2021, Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department at the College of Engineering from 2014 to 2015, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs from 2015 to 2016, Assistant Professor from 2014 to 2018, and Lecturer from 2009 to 2014.

He has more than 70 research papers published in peer-reviewed scientific journals.

He holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and Materials and Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom in 2013, a PhD in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering from Loughborough University in the same country in 2012, a Master's degree in Solid Mechanics from King Saud University in 2005, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in 1999.
