He has been Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the National College of Automotive Technology since October 2016, a member of the Board of Trustees of Muscat University since October 2016, and a member of the Board of Directors of OQ Company since August 2020.

He assumed the position of CEO of “Oman Railways Company” between 2013 and 2016, and participated in establishing “Al Sakhr International Company.”

He has 14 years of work experience in the oil and gas sector, where he held several positions in project management, business planning, and change management at Petroleum Development Oman between 2000 and 2007. He was a construction supervisor in the same company between 1994 and 1996, and a project engineer in “Petroleum Development Oman.” NAM BV Assen” in the Netherlands between 1996 and 2000.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1994 from the University of Bradford in the United Kingdom.
