He is the founder and CEO of " Saida Carpet Company ", the vice president of the "Daraa Chamber of Industry and Commerce", and a member of the " Syrian-Jordanian Business Council " and "Al-Ghanem Carpet Manufacturing Company" in Jordan.

Al-Mahamid began his activity in the carpet sector in Daraa Governorate, and worked to develop and expand the Sidon carpet business to transform it from a local activity into a group with an industrial and commercial presence inside and outside Syria, benefiting from his experience in business management, investment and expansion in regional markets.

He has investment and industrial activity in Jordan, where over the past years he has contributed to the establishment and development of investments in the carpet and rug manufacturing sector, in addition to other commercial and investment activities.
