He has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Industrial Gases Company (GAS) since 2019, and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Electricity and Water Utilities Company in Jubail and Yanbu (MARAFIC ) since 2021.

He has over 34 years of experience in management and manufacturing.

He served as CEO of: SABIC Agri-Nutrients Company, formerly known as Saudi Arabian Fertilizer Company (SAFCO), from April 1, 2015 to May 1, 2021, Eastern Petrochemical Company (Sharq) from 2013 to 2015, and Jubail Fertilizer Company (Al-Bironi) from 2009 to 2012.

He was Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of several companies, including Aluminium Bahrain Company (Alba) between 2016 and 2020, Arab Industrial Fibers Company (Ibn Rushd) between 2004 and 2009, and National Chemical Fertilizers Company (Ibn Bitar) between 2002 and 2009.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Chemical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals .
