Member of the Advisory Board at the American University of Sharjah , the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals, the Mohammed Bin Rashid Innovation Fund , and the Global Innovation Academy in the United Kingdom. She held several positions at the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention, including: Director of Strategy and the Future between 2014 and 2018, Chief Innovation Officer between 2014 and 2018, Central Director of Health Education between 1999 and 2006, and Director of Performance, Operations and Corporate Risk Management at the Department of Health - Abu Dhabi between 2013 and 2014. She also held the position of Vice President of the Health Planning and Quality Center at Dubai Healthcare City between 2006 and 2009, and Director of Quality Improvement at the Health Planning and Quality Center at the same authority between 2006 and 2008. She has received many awards, including: “Future Leaders Program Award”, “Inspirational Leadership Award”, and “President’s Award for Best Entity in Corporate Social Responsibility”. She holds a Master’s in Public Health in 2005 from the American University of Beirut , a Professional Diploma in Innovation from the University of Cambridge, a Bachelor’s in Medicine and Surgery in 1993 from the University of the Punjab in Pakistan, in addition to a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Strategic Management Using the Balanced Scorecard from the George Washington University, a Certificate in Total Quality Management from the University of Leeds, and a Certificate in Executive Leadership Development Program from the Ashridge School of Management.
