She is the Chairperson of the Executive Committee of the My Language Initiative, the writer of the Ink Drop column in Emirates Today newspaper , and a member of the Sharjah City Municipal Council, the Emirates Association for Retirees, the Sharjah Development Forum, and the Sharjah Child Protection Network.

She held the position of Secretary-General of the Sharjah Education Council, and served as an educational advisor to the same council, as head of the executive office of the same council’s partners, and as Secretary-General of the Sharjah Award for Educational Excellence and Distinction, and as Vice President of the School Girl Committee in the School Sports Federation.

She was a member of the Supreme Committee of the Sharjah Oral and Dental Health Project, the Scientific Committee of the Second Childhood Conference for Dubai Summer Surprises, the Executive Committee of the First Conference of Educational Zone Councils, the Emirates Volunteer Association, and the Teachers Association.

She received the Woman Leader of the Year 2015 title, the Social Defense Medal from the Sharjah Police General Command in 2012, the Mohammed Bin Rashid Award for Arab Management for the category of distinguished Arab female administrator in 2006, the Khalifa Educational Award for the category of teacher in 2002, the Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Distinguished Educational Performance for her idea of the Al Manar Traffic Information Center in 1999, the Sharjah Award for Educational Excellence and Distinction in 1997 for the category of distinguished assistant principal, and a certificate of excellence from the Minister of Education and Youth as a distinguished assistant principal in 1997.

She published several books, including: Readings and Reflections in 2000, My Tweets from Myself in 2013, and Fawzan’s Journey from Beginning to End in 2005.

She has more than 32 years of experience in the field of education, having started her work in the educational field in 1985, where she was a teacher for 11 years, an assistant principal for 3 years, and a principal for 8 years.

She obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Education in 1993 and a Diploma in Educational Qualification in 1985.
