He served as CEO of Habsburg Financial Advisors in the United Kingdom between 2004 and 2005, Deputy Managing Director of Saudi Research and Publishing Company in the same country between June 2003 and November 2004, Head of Treasury and Investment at Saudi Research and Marketing Group between 1997 and 2003, and Senior Vice President at Merrill Lynch International Bank in London between 1993 and 1996.

He also held the position of Vice President and Member of the Credit Committee at the Saudi American Bank (Samba) in London between 1990 and 1993, and Senior Manager at the same bank in Saudi Arabia between 1985 and 1990.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business Administration in 1985 from the American University in Washington, USA, and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certificate in 1994. He also completed a training course in strategic business leadership in 2003 from the European Institute of Business Administration (INSEAD).
