Co-founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Capital Bank Group of Jordan, Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

He is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Bank of Iraq , Capital Investment Company , and the Association of Banks in Jordan since April 2021, and a member of the Board of Directors of the General Mining Company.

He held the position of Minister of Finance in 2009, and Minister of Labor between 2005 and 2009. He founded the “Packaging Factories Company” and held the position of General Manager. He also founded the “United Company for the Manufacture of Flavors and Flavors” and chaired its Board of Directors.

He also held the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of “King’s Academy School”, “ Social Security Corporation ” between 2005 and 2009, “Vocational Training Corporation” between 2005 and 2009, “Employment, Education, Vocational and Technical Training Support Fund” between 2005 and 2009, and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Jordan Modern Cables Company” and “Sourceg Jordan Company”.

He was a member of the Jordanian Senate between 2010 and 2011, a member of the Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Jordan between 2000 and 2005, and the Jordan Capital Bank. He also chaired a number of committees between 2005 and 2009, including: the Executive Committee of the Development and Employment Fund, the National Committee for the National Training and Employment Project, and the Steering Committee for the King Hussein Bin Talal Area Project.

He holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Chemical Engineering in 1978 from Imperial College London in the United Kingdom.
