He held the position of Assistant General Manager and Chief Financial Officer at Gulf General Investment Company (Gulf Investment) during 2008, General Manager of Treasury at Emirates NBD Bank between 2005 and 2008, and held the position of Assistant Vice President of Main Branch Sales at Riyadh Bank between 2003 and 2004, and worked as Assistant to the Head of Cash Department at Samba Financial Group between 1997 and 1999.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate from Arkansas State University in the United States of America in 1997.
