Director of the Office of the President of the State for Strategic Affairs at the “ Presidential Court ” with the rank of Undersecretary since September 11, 2024, United Arab Emirates.

He has been the Secretary-General of the UAE National Competitiveness Council (NAFES) since September 2021, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange since January 8, 2024, and a member of the Board of Directors of Afaq Islamic Finance Company and the Abu Dhabi Retirement Pensions and Benefits Fund .

He was appointed as a member of the Abu Dhabi Securities Market in 2015, and also served as a member of the Board of Directors of Arabtec Holding Company .

He has 21 years of experience working in ADNOC Group and Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, where he held the following previous positions:

• Head of Human Resources and Administration Department at Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC).
• Senior Vice President of Support Services at Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Oil Operations (ADCO ) between January and September 2016.
• CFO at ADCO between 2013 and 2015.
• Group Finance Director at ADNOC between 2012 and 2013.
• Head of Clearing, Settlement, Depository and Registration Services at Abu Dhabi Securities Market between 2011 and 2012.
• Head of Operations and Control Department at Abu Dhabi Securities Market between 2000 and 2012.

He holds a Master’s degree in Financial Economics in 2000 from Boston University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Finance in 1998 from Suffolk University in the United States.
