He has held the position of Executive Director of Strategy and Corporate Performance at the same entity since January 2020, and a member of the Advisory Board of the Investment Promotion Agency in Qatar “Invest Qatar”.

He also held the position of Assets and Exploration Manager at North Oil Company between April 2017 and December 2019, Deputy Director at Maersk Oil Qatar between 2016 and 2017, Technical Director at Maersk Oil Research and Technology Centre between January 2015 and September 2016, and Deputy Technical Director at the same centre during 2014.

He worked as a Production Technology Engineer at Shell Oil Company in the United States of America between 2013 and 2014, a Production Technician at Qatar Shell Gas to Liquids Company Limited between April 2010 and February 2013, and a Senior Engineer at Schlumberger between 2006 and 2010.

He has won a number of awards, including: the “Middle East Regional Service Award” in 2017 from the “Society of Petroleum Engineers”, and the “Global Bronze Award” for the best research paper in 2008 from “Schlumberger”.

Al Khori holds an MBA in 2018 from the University of Northampton in the UK, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2005 from Qatar University . He also completed the Executive Leadership Program in 2022 at the Qatar Leadership Center , and the Executive Leaders Program at Qatar Energy in 2019 from the European Institute of Business Administration “INSEAD”.
