He served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Ramz Corporation, and Chief Financial Officer of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company. And Managing Director of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority “ADIA”. He held the position of Chief Financial Officer of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, and General Manager and Managing Director of the Abu Dhabi Investment Council. Al Kindi also chaired the Board of Directors of Abu Dhabi Investment Company, Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company, and National Bank of Abu Dhabi . He also previously held several positions in the financial and investment field in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, including Deputy Director of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, then he was appointed Deputy Director General of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority between 1997 and 2006. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Eastern Michigan University in the United States of America.
