The UAE Foreign Minister's envoy for combating extremism and terrorism since January 8, 2026.

He is the Chairman of the National Human Rights Commission since 2021, Chairman of the International Board of Directors of the International Center of Excellence for Countering Violent Extremism “ Hedayah ” since February 2026, and a member of the National Media Team accredited by the UAE Cabinet .

He served as a strategic communications advisor at the Ministry of Presidential Affairs , the executive director at the International Center of Excellence for Countering Violent Extremism ( Hedayah ), a psychological affairs advisor at Global Aerospace Logistics, a subsidiary of the Emirates Advanced Investments Group , and head of the planning department at the same company. He was also a member of the board of directors of the Global Community Engagement and Resilience Fund in Geneva, and worked as a psychologist for the UAE Armed Forces.

He published a research chapter entitled “The Psychological Foundations of Tolerance” in the book “Tolerance: The UAE as a Leader, Methodology and Application” in 2019, and he has a research paper entitled “Towards a Neuro-Model of Talent: A Conceptual Perspective” in 2019, and a paper entitled “Strategies for Combating Violent Extremism in the Islamic World” in 2016.

He holds a Master's degree in Organizational Psychology from the University of Melbourne in Australia (2009) and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the United Arab Emirates University (2000).
