He held several positions at the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) , including:

• Executive Director of Innovation and Information Technology at the Authority’s Innovation Center.
• Board member of Moro Integrated Data Solutions Company, a subsidiary of the Authority.
• Vice President of Primary Distribution Asset Management.
• Senior Manager of Asset Management.
• Senior Manager of Distribution Equipment Maintenance.
• Director General of Quality and Safety.

He has received many awards, including: the “Innovation Award” in 2014 from the United Kingdom, the “Distinguished Arab Creativity Award” in 2013, the “Distinguished Employee Award” from the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority “DEWA” in 2012, and the “Creative Employee Award” in 2007 from the “ General Secretariat of the Dubai Government Excellence Award .”

He holds an Executive Master of Business Administration from the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT ) in 2013, a Master of Public Administration from the Dubai School of Government (now known as the Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government ) in 2010, a Higher Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the HCT in 1999, and a Bachelor of Engineering specializing in Industrial Management from the same colleges in 2005.
