Maysaa Sabreen's Bio

Governor in charge of the " Central Bank of Syria " since December 2024, Syrian Arab Republic.
She is the first woman to be appointed to this position.
She has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Damascus Securities Exchange, representing the Central Bank of Syria, since December 2018, and a member of the Monetary Council.
She held several positions at the Central Bank of Syria, including:
- First Deputy Governor of the Bank, Supervisory Director and Member of the Bank’s Management Committee.
- Director of the Government Commission Directorate.
- Head of Office Control Department.
She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Accounting from Damascus University, in addition to a Certified Public Accountant certificate, and obtained a PhD from Damascus University in December 2024.
