He has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of Banque Saudi Fransi since January 1, 2019, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Group , and a member of the Board of Directors of Saudi Arabian Airlines since June 24, 2020, the Saudi Tourism Authority, the Local Content and Government Procurement Authority since 2019, and the Real Estate Development Fund since 2019.

He held the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of “ Saudi Fransi Capital Company ”, and held several positions in the “ Saudi Capital Market Authority ”, including: Director General of the General Department of Corporate Finance between 2004 and 2007, and Member of the Board of Directors between 2009 and 2014.

He held the position of CEO of Samba Capital and Investment Management Group between 2008 and 2009, Head of Mergers and Acquisitions at Samba Financial Group between 2003 and 2004, Director of Private Investment Banking Services in Riyadh at Gulf International Bank between 2002 and 2003, and Senior Partner of Private Investment Banking Services at Merrill Lynch between 1998 and 2002.

He worked as a consultant and senior auditor at Ernst & Young between 1993 and 1998.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Financial Management in 1992 from the University of Buckingham in the United Kingdom.
