A lawyer, legal consultant, and international arbitrator, and former Member of the Federal National Council of the UAE.

He has served as Chairman of the Disciplinary Committee of the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) since May 2025. He is also the Head of Independent Integrity at the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) in Malaysia since May 2017, and a founding team leader of both the UAE Sports Arbitration Center and the Gulf Sports Disputes Court.

Al Kamali is a Founding Partner of Al Kamali & Co., Advocates and Legal Consultants, a position he has held since 1996. He has been an accredited arbitrator with the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) since January 2015, as well as with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). He is also a listed arbitrator with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry Arbitration Centre and the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) Arbitration Centre, and a member of the International Bar Association, Paris.

He also contributed to the establishment of the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) in Lausanne, Switzerland, and served as a member of its Legal Committee.

He was elected Chairman of the FIFA Disciplinary Committee by the FIFA Congress at its 75th session, held on 15 May 2025 in Asunción. He is the first representative from Asia and the Arab region to assume this role.

He holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law from the University of the West of England.
