He has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of “ Bahri Group ” since 2019, and a member of the Board of Directors of the “ General Authority of Civil Aviation ” since April 2, 2024.

He chaired the board of directors of: “Flow Logistics Company” between 2016 and 2019, “Gokner Juice Company” in Turkey between 2015 and 2019, “ Al Safi Danone Company ” between 2011 and 2019, “IKEA Bahrain Company” between 2016 and 2019, “IKEA Saudi Arabia Company” between 2016 and 2019, and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Venture Capital Bank” in the Kingdom of Bahrain between 2014 and 2019, and “ Bahri Group ”, and was a member of the Board of Directors and Advisor at “ Al Faisaliah Group ” between 2011 and 2019, and a member of the “ Saudi-French Business Council ”.

He also served as a member of the Board of Directors of: Qatar Engineering and Construction Company (Q-Con) between 2016 and 2019, European Islamic Bank in London between 2011 and 2016, Rasmala Company in Dubai between 2013 and 2016, Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization, Saudi Public Transport Company (SAPTCO) , Bayan Real Estate Company, Bahri Bulk Cargo Company, Riyadh Airports Company, and Saudi Civil Aviation Holding Company.

Al-Sarhan held the following positions:

• Executive Vice President of Al Faisaliah Group between 2006 and 2010.
• General Manager of Al Safi Danone Company between 1993 and 2001.
• Managing Director of "Al Safi Danone Company".
• General Manager of "Petromin Refinery Company".
• Vice President of Distribution Affairs, Samarq Company, between 1977 and 1993.
• Managing Director of Al Safi Food Corporation.
• Member of the Board of Trustees of Al Yamamah University.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics in 1977 from Oregon State University in the United States of America.
