Board Member and Managing Director of Marketing at “ Independent Petroleum Group ”, State of Kuwait.

He was appointed a member of the Group’s Board of Directors on 24 March 2013.

He held the position of Managing Director of Marketing at the Independent Petroleum Group , and held several positions at the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation , namely: Deputy Managing Director of Sales, Deputy Managing Director of Marketing, Director of the Crude Oil Sales Department, Director of the Q8 Lubricating Oil Sales Department, and Director of the Coordination Office in Singapore.

He held the position of Vice President of Kuwait Petroleum International “Q8” , Vice President of “Milazzo Refinery Company”, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Kuwait Petroleum and Stern Hemisphere Company” in the United States of America.

He was a member of the Board of Directors of: “Kuwait Petroleum Company Spain”, “Kuwait Petroleum Company France”, “Kuwait Petroleum Company Sweden”, “Kuwait National Petroleum Company”, “Kuwait Petroleum Development Company Thailand”, and “Kuwait Aviation Fueling Company”.

He holds a Master’s degree in International Business Administration in 1981 from Sophia University in Japan, a Diploma in Banking Studies from the Institute of Banking Studies in Kuwait, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics in 1972 from Kuwait University.
