He has been the Acting Chief Procurement Officer of the same group since June 20, 2021, and the General Manager of “Etisalat Services Holding Company” affiliated with the same group since July 2022.

He has also been Chairman of the Board of Directors of “E-Marine Company” since June 2022, and a member of the Board of Directors of “Smart World Company” since May 2021, and “Emirates Vision Company” since 2016.

He was a member of the Board of Directors of Etisalat Egypt and Etisalat Nigeria between 2008 and 2017, and Zanzibar Telecom Company (Zentel) between 2011 and 2015. He also held the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Canar Telecom in Sudan between 2014 and 2016.

He joined Emirates Telecommunications Group (Etisalat) in 1998 and held several positions including: Chief Transformation Officer between 2020 and 2021, Chief Business Continuity and Corporate Quality Officer between 2017 and 2020, Chief Procurement Officer between 2012 and 2017, Senior Vice President of Mobile Networks between 2009 and 2012, and Vice President of Mobile Network Planning and External Support.

He holds a Bachelor of Communications Engineering 1998 from the College of Communications Engineering.
