He holds several positions in the same company, namely: Chairman of the Board of Directors of “ Orient Takaful Insurance Company ” in Egypt, “Orient Insurance Company Sri Lanka”, and “Orient Sigorta Anomen Sirketi Company” in Turkey.

He was a member of the Advisory Board of Al Futtaim Willis and Al Futtaim Finance, and a member of the Board of Directors of Orient UNB Takaful between 2016 and 2017, and the Arab War Risk Insurance Fund in Bahrain. He also joined Orient Insurance in 1982.

He also held the position of Managing Director of the “Arab Levant Company” in Syria, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the “Insurance Working Group”, Chairman of the Higher Technical Committee of the “Emirates Insurance Association”, Head of Sales and Marketing at “Norwich Union Company” in Saudi Arabia, and Underwriting Assistant at “Khartoum Insurance Company” in Sudan.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 1978 from Cairo University .
